Bad Odor From Your Vacuum - Reasons And How To Get Rid Of

Like when you have a computer, owning a vacuum cleaner, even one from the best vacuum cleaner brands, means you need to know how to use and how to maintain it. Upright, cordless stick vacuums or robot vacuums may have some common problems that occur during use. CAUSES

Pet

There are two “products” from your four-legged friends that may cause a bad smell inside the vacuum: hair and urine. Debris

SOLUTIONS

There are several ways to get rid of the smell, but before doing anything with the machine, you need to unplug it.

Bag and canister

If you are using a bagged vacuum, you need to change the bag every 6 months besides emptying it regularly because small dirt or liquid may remain on the inner surface and produce a smell after a period. If your vacuum doesn’t have a bag, you just need to empty and clean it regularly, better after cleaning.

Other components

Any part of a vacuum needs cleaning as the dirt and debris can stick on anywhere inside, especially the hose and the crevice tool. Just extract the components then use clean water and a piece of cloth to clean.

The filters

As mentioned above, a long-time used filter is very dirty with dirt and even liquid so replacing the filtration system is recommended every 6 to 12 months. If the filters are washable, for example, the HEPA filter, you need to clean it every 3 months.

Add a perfume pad

After cleaning the whole machine, you can put a perfume pad right before the filter so that your vacuum will produce a pleasant smell when operating.

Trampen ist sicher eine Möglichkeit, sollte man aber wie in deinem Fall wenig bzw. gar kein Japanisch sprechen/verstehen, stelle ich mir das nicht so angenehm vor. Habe schon einiges darüber von Japanreisenden gelesen, die tatsächlich in Japan erfolgreich getrampt haben.

Das halte ich für keine gute Idee und ebenso finde ich das ziemlich unhöflich. Ich habe schon in verschiedensten Ländern den Daumen rausgehalten (auch z.B. in Afrika und da kannte ich nur ein paar Sätze der jeweiligen Sprache), aber Menschen, die so freundlich sind einen mitzunehmen, einfach eine Karteikarte unter die Nase halten zu wollen...

Trampen ist eine sehr spezielle Art zu reisen und eine wunderbare Möglichkeit mit Einheimischen in Kontakt zu kommen. Zumindest rudimentäre Sprachkenntnisse sind dabei aber von großem Vorteil. Es geht auch ohne, aber dann wirkt das Ganze eben so, als ob man die Fahrer lediglich als "Chauffeure" nutzt.

Ich würde aber eher empfehlen zumindest soviel Japanisch zu lernen, dass Du diese Sätze ohne Karteikarten aufsagen und richtig anwenden kannst.

Diese zehn Sätze kann man doch an einem Wochenende auswendiglernen. Ich würde anregen, das "gerade" in "derzeit" umzuwandeln, damit Deepl nicht womöglich auf dumme Gedanken kommt.
Sowohl bei uns in Takuma als auch z.B. am Wilden Kaiser (Tirol) gibt es den 100-Yen-Bus, der fährt überall hin, auch dahin, wo kaum mal jemand hin will, d.h. in Takuma ans Ende der langen Halbinsel.
Ein weniger hübsches Industriestädtchen. Yakushima ist hingegen Tourismus mit grandioser Natur und wahrscheinlich auch Infrastruktur, falls man halt hin darf.
Ich war noch nie auf Yakushima, doch scheint mir, auf dieser kreisrunden Insel kommst du, wenn du geradeaus gehst, kaum 25km weit, dann ist wieder Küste
