Don't worry too much about unfriendly remarks. This is the internetz and we shouldn't take things too serious. Seriously. However, I am still waiting for some facts to substantiate your primary claim that there is allegedly a lot of racism in Japan.

First, you didn't get a haircut at a random barber shop, for whatever reason. Can you really exclude that it was just a simple misunderstanding? Misunderstandings are the most common reason for conflicts of every kind.

Next, there were the nice kawaii girls who wanted to take a picture of you and them in the swimming bath. Most men like me wouldn't consider this a negative experience. On the contrary. It makes me want to go to Japan immediately.

Nevertheless, I do not see that you have reliable facts to offer, which might solidify your primary claim that there is a significant amount of "racism" in Japan. I also have the strong feeling that your remarks about Ainu and Korean people in Japan are not the result from your personal observations, but probably from what you've read in a very leftist and PC book about Japan.

(I am just writing in English because I just re-read my own comments and I came to the conclusion that my typical writing style might appear a bit strange for a non-native speaker. )

Ja aber wo siehst du Streit? Das ist der Part den ich nicht verstehe. Okay, es gab ein paar unfreundliche Bemerkungen gegen dich, die ich nicht billige aber nun versuchte ich das Gespräch auf eine faktuelle Ebene zu bringen und fragte dich ob du noch etwas mehr negatives zu erzählen hast als die Geschichte vom Friseursalon. Wo siehst du da nun Streit?

Hachiko - bitte bleib sachlich. Mag ja sein, dass Du mit Oosh nicht einer Meinung bist, aber wir diskutieren hier im JN sachlich (es kamen ja schon gute Argumente, die allerdings etwas untergingen) oder gar nicht. Vor allem belegen wir andere Mitglieder nicht mit irgendwelchen Spottnamen.

Oosh: Bitte auch Nazivorwürfe zurückhalten. Und das mit dem sich ständig wehren führt in einer Diskussion auch nicht immer zum Ziel. Zieh stattdessen das raus, was Du verwenden kannst und mach damit weiter.
